Slow sinks, gurgling toilets or water backing up in the shower? We clear the blockage, then use a CCTV camera to show you exactly what caused it, so you're not paying for the same problem twice.
Most blockages give a warning before they back up completely. If you notice any of these, get it looked at early. A partial blockage is quicker and cheaper to clear.
Sinks, basins or the shower take longer and longer to empty.
Air trapped behind a blockage bubbles up through toilets and plugholes.
Sewer odours from drains or the yard often mean waste is sitting in the pipe.
Water climbing toward the rim is a classic sign of a blocked sewer line.
Wet ground or overflowing gully traps can point to roots or a broken pipe.

From a single blocked basin to a root-choked sewer line, we have the equipment to clear it properly.
Blocked drains or stormwater issues cleared with high-pressure water jetting and electric eels: rapid, hassle-free unblocking that restores full flow.

Ford Plumbing's CCTV inspection found our blockage fast and fixed it the same day. Super professional!
The most common causes are tree roots growing into older clay pipes, fats and grease from the kitchen, wet wipes and sanitary products in toilets, and sand, leaves and silt washing into stormwater drains after storms. A CCTV inspection tells us which one you're dealing with.
Sometimes. If the pipe is cracked, sagging or has roots growing through the joints, a blockage can return even after it's been cleared. That's why we recommend a CCTV inspection for persistent or severe blockages, and it may be offered at a discounted rate when done during the initial visit. Drain cleaning isn't covered by our workmanship warranty, because blockages can recur for reasons outside our control.
No. We use high-pressure water jetting and mechanical eels, which physically clear roots and build-up without the risk chemical cleaners pose to older pipes.
Generally you're responsible for the pipes on your property, while the main sewer line in the street belongs to the council. If our camera shows the problem is in the council main, we'll let you know so you can report it to the City of Gold Coast.
